Our 2012 Consulting programme is now closed for applications.  If you wish to register an interest in our 2013 programme please click here.

Be part of our industry-renowned management consulting programme and you’ll join us in helping transform the way businesses work, behave and deliver their strategic objectives.

Successful graduate applicants will join the Consulting Development Community (or CDC) – an 18-24 month programme which provides the structure, support & training to develop the core consulting skills essential  for your future consulting career at Capgemini.  This starts from day one.  New graduates undergo an intensive induction into Capgemini – including a week in our world class facilities at Les Fontaines, providing an opportunity to network with Capgemini colleagues from all over Europe and building a solid foundation of Capgemini tools and methodologies that enable new graduates to join the business with confidence.

During their time in the CDC, graduates will continue to develop their core consulting skills  - these include ‘hard skills’ such as project planning and management, business case development, strategic analysis and Microsoft Office competency with the equally important ‘soft skills’ including facilitation, stakeholder management, relationship building and communication skills. These capabilities will be developed through a combination of project delivery, a formal training programme, informal skills sessions, and internal work.

In addition to development of these core skills, Capgemini Consulting is committed to developing the content knowledge of its graduates – more commonly known in the business as CDCers. When you join the consulting programme, you will be assigned to one of the following specialist areas.

You will have the opportunity to rotate through other areas to suit your career aspirations or stay and specialise if that is your preference.

Being part of the CDC isn’t all about work however, there is also an exceptional support structure, combining a mixture of informal and formal mentors who will help you to make the most of your time in the CDC and prepare you for a future in consulting.

The CDC has a strong sense of charity, with CDCers taking part in numerous charitable events – such as the Myotubular Trust Walk, 10k runs for Capgemini’s Charity of the Year, and pro-bono work for the Metropolitan Police.

In addition, there are frequent CDC only socials and meetings – all of which contribute to creating a lively and close knit community. Click here to read more about the day-to-day experiences of past and present CDCers and their views of the CDC programme.
